The Magic Rings: First official event: June 14/25

Our First official event kicked off June 14/25 with the "Great Scavenger Hunt" a new annual tradition where teams compete with one another to win great and powerful magical items.

This year they were competing for four magical rings of protection which grants the user a once daily Greater Mage Armor. This buff adds +4 armor points, above and beyond the normal useable wear points and stacks with all other forms of armor, for 24 hours.

Congrats to Conrad, Marrok, Clara and Therese who won!

We also saw the promotion of Peregrine Sunweaver to the rank of Guild-Mistress of the Crafter's guild and Aloysius Wolfborne to the rank of Captain of the Guards! We know they will both do us proud.

Other significant news was one of the lands most beloved talking animals Mr. Beaver challenged the players with a series of riddles and hid clues around the site in little potion bottles. Many of the bottles were found but in the end it was the adventurer Conrad who got the most correct answers and won a gem worth two gold coins. Congrats Conrad!

Also trapsing around the lands was a large brutish troll which no adventurers could kill until Marrok, using a magically enchanted fire sword, slayed the foul beast and claimed victory!

Other excursion found the heroes tracking down a nest of large spiders and fighting goblins and wolves.

It was a small group of 14 brave adventurers but all had fun in the beautiful sunny outdoors.
