Our third event began as always in the Land of Narnia. It is the harvest season where the treat trees are ready to be picked of their delicious chips, candy and chocolate bar leaves.
Sir Vallanor has been called to Cair Paravel by High King Peter on urgent business and Mr. Beaver has been left in charge to take care of the harvest. The problem is treat goblins have been stealing and ransacking all the goodies.
When our adventurers arrive Mr. Beaver implores them to help get rid of the treat goblins and bring back any of the treat tree crops they may have stolen. In return, if the adventurers don't eat them first, he is willing to pay 1 silver coin for every treat returned to the Inn.
The adventurers fan out and scour the woods and fields seeking to capture these pesky treat goblins and many adventurers gain lots of silver coins in the process. They also encounter some scarry walking skeletons and zombies along the way which have been sent out to frighten them.
Near the end of the event a great harvest of treat trees are found deep in the woods by Mr. Beavers scouts. The adventurers are rounded up and have to protect the grove from the advancing hoard of monsters and as a reward they are able to pick what treats are left over from the treat trees.
Mmmm lots of yummy treats! Happy Halloween everyone!
